Are you a Norwegian-speaking student with a sharp eye for language and an interest in technology? Are you passionate about clear communication? We are now looking for a short-term translator to join our team at Infobric Machines. 

This is what you will do:

You'll help localize a tracking software platform used in the construction and heavy machinery industry – including web, mobile app, and emails. You will translate from English to Norwegian.

What are we looking for in you:

• A student, preferably in languages, communication, IT, or related fields
• Fluent in Norwegian (native or near-native) and English
• Detail-oriented, independent, and confident in writing clearly and correctly
• Willing to do light research when needed to find the right terms
• Interested in tech, software, or the construction/machinery sector
• A plus if you are familiar with technical vocabulary from construction, telematics, or machines

Tools & Workflow:

You’ll translate using Weblate, a collaborative translation platform. However, you’ll also need to review and quality-check the content directly in the product, including:

• Web interface
• Mobile app
• Email templates

You’re welcome to use AI translation tools to get started, but everything must be manually checked and polished to ensure visibility, consistency, accuracy, and natural language.
