Meet Anshitaa Sekar, our Data Analyst Intern. With a background in finance and experience in the apparel manufacturing industry, Anshitaa has been pursuing her master's degree in digital business at Jönköping University since 2023.

Anshitaa joined Infobric because the company’s mission aligns perfectly with her goal to develop her technical competencies while contributing to a greater good in the community.

Hi Anshitaa! Can you share with us why you chose Infobric for your internship?

- As someone who’s seeking for an opportunity where I can be myself and contribute to the greater good in the community, I found Infobric not only an ideal tech environment to enhance my technical competencies but also where I can be a part of something that really matters in the community – “To accelerate the construction industry’s journey to zero accidents, zero fraud, and zero emissions”.

What are some of the key projects you will be working on during your internship?

- My role revolves around data analytics and market research. Some of the key projects are to identify insights that help improve the product offering in the market and to find ways in which we can help our customers with their CSRD reporting.

Is there a particular aspect of the internship that you find most rewarding? 

- What I find most rewarding about this internship is how Infobric's core values are woven into every aspect of its environment and operations. Being given the freedom to approach my project in my own style and at my own pace has allowed me to truly embrace the values of "doing the right thing" and "being my best self”. These principles in turn act as empowering factors to continue doing my best. I’ve also found the people and environment at Infobric to be incredibly welcoming, which has made it easy to integrate and fully immerse myself in the company’s culture.

What skills or knowledge do you hope to gain through your internship at Infobric?

- I’m looking forward to enhancing my data analytical and market research skills. In addition, to learn the approaches taken by the experienced personnel at Infobric for problem-solving in tackling real-world projects. This would give me a strong competency to tackle problems in the digital world.

How do you think this internship will impact your future career or academic pursuits?

- This internship gives me the opportunity to put the learnings from my master’s program into practice and that too in a well-versed tech environment. Hence, strengthening my practical competencies to establish a career in business analytics in Sweden, which I am passionate about.

How has your experience of Infobric been so far?

- Overall, it’s been a rewarding and enriching experience so far. I’m beyond grateful to my mentors and Infobric for this wonderful opportunity.
