My Infobric Story: Meet Linus Petersson
Infobric people are at the center of our growth and development. By sharing the stories of our employees, we want to highlight the different career paths, experiences, and contributions that shape our company every day. These stories reflect the supportive culture at Infobric and the opportunities that can grow when commitment, curiosity, and collaboration come together.
Meet Linus, IT Manager at Infobric. He joined the company in 2019 as a Support Agent and has since taken on a range of roles and responsibilities across the business. From customer support and training to group-level IT work, his journey shows how initiative, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn can lead to continuous development. His story is a good example of how Infobric encourages employees to grow, explore new areas, and contribute across departments.
What was your first role at Infobric?
I started working at Infobric in 2019 as a Support Agent.
What attracted you to Infobric in the beginning?
I came from a 3PL company where I was responsible for support for several different clients.
I enjoyed my job, but I felt that I wanted to focus more on one specific company rather than several. Infobric had exciting products in a market where I saw great growth potential.
How have your responsibilities evolved over time?
I started in the support department, where my potential was quickly recognized, which resulted in several larger areas of responsibility. Among other things, I was responsible for partner support for our two largest customers, as well as the customers we had in England at the time.
I worked with that for a couple of years before moving on to our Customer Success department, where I held training sessions for selected customers who wanted to learn more about our systems.
At the same time, I have always had a strong interest in IT and have always been available to assist our IT organization with various projects over the years. Eventually, this led to my current role where I work at the group level as an IT Manager. In this role, I support my colleagues within Infobric with various IT-related matters, work with procurement of equipment for colleagues and offices, handle onboarding of new employees, and am part of the team that drives the IT projects currently running within the organization.
How have your responsibilities evolved over time?
Over the years, I have always shown that I have a strong work ethic and a willingness to work hard for our brands, services, and products. This has naturally opened doors to new and greater responsibilities, which I have always been open to since I strive to become as valuable a part of the organization as possible.
How has Infobric supported your development?
Today, Infobric is a large organization with many different departments that hold a great deal of knowledge.
One advantage I see at Infobric is that we are an open organization where people are comfortable asking for help and exchanging knowledge with colleagues. I believe this makes the biggest difference, as long as you are willing to take initiative yourself.
What internal opportunities (projects, training, role changes, promotions) have helped you take the next step?
Showing what you are capable of through a strong work ethic and not being afraid to ask for more responsibility has enabled my development. I have also always made it clear to other departments that I am happy to help if given the opportunity, especially in areas where I have previous knowledge and work experience. This has also contributed to where I am today.
How would you describe the culture regarding development and career opportunities at Infobric?
If you are passionate about what you do and work hard in an organization with the growth potential that Infobric has, combined with the opportunity to interact with other departments, the opportunities will come naturally.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to develop within the company?
A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new things are the most important factors.
What are you most looking forward to regarding the future at Infobric?
Despite the incredible growth we have experienced since I started in 2019, Infobric still has great potential to continue growing, both in new services and products and in new markets around the world. I am really looking forward to that.
What makes Infobric different from other companies you worked at?
Great offices and friendly colleagues are something that truly characterizes the organization. Combined with the incredibly fast growth and business development, I believe this makes Infobric a great company to work for.
