Meet Chaimaa: "Infobric helped me grow along the way.”
Meet Chaimaa Ben Tahayekt, Team Lead for the Infobric Fleet development team, sharing her story of being a part of Infobric.

"When you spend that much of your life at work, it’s essential to do what you love and love what you do, and I feel incredibly lucky to say I do. I genuinely have the best team."
Chaimaa Ben Tahayekt joined Infobric in 2017 as a newly graduated junior developer. Today, she leads the Tech team for the Infobric Fleet platform in Infobric, connecting product management and development to drive mobility innovation.
Hi Chaimaa, can you share your journey at Infobric with us?
- My journey has been truly wonderful, and I've had the best managers I could ever wish for. I started working on mobile apps after graduating with a university degree in Software Engineering. Still, after just a month, my manager asked me to step into the role of Team Lead for mobile development. I accepted the challenge, and a year later, he asked me to take on also responsibilities as part of the web development team. Currently, I’m responsible for the entire development team, serving as the bridge between product management and development.
How has Infobric supported your professional development?
- I would say that Infobric has been helping me grow professionally since day one.
The mentorship and guidance I've received from the beginning have been incredible. I've had managers who fully trusted me and encouraged me to step into leadership roles early in my career, a crucial step that accelerated my growth and confidence. Now, my current manager, Carl-Henrik Wallenlöv, continues to support and motivate me every step of the way.
One more significant aspect is the continuing challenges. As I proved myself in mobile development, the company continued to challenge me with greater responsibilities, such as eventually asking me to help lead part of the web team and the entire development team. Infobric allows me to freely make decisions, learn from mistakes, and explore better working methods. Those hands-on experiences were invaluable for my growth.
Furthermore, as I now work as the link between product management and development, this cross-functional exposure has broadened my understanding of business strategy, communication, and team collaboration.
Last but not least, the company has a very supportive working culture. Infobric fosters an environment where curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning are genuinely valued. I’ve always felt encouraged to ask questions and get help from my colleagues, try new things, and push my own boundaries.
Can you describe the working environment at Infobric in 3 words?
- I think it would be dynamic, supportive, and challenging.
One thing you love about Infobric?
- Infobric feels like family to me. Here in the Arboga office, we’re not just colleagues but a small, tight-knit team looking out for one another. Whether it’s day-to-day tasks or navigating through the busier, more stressful periods, we always support each other in the best way we can.
I love encouraging the team with small things, like bringing chocolate or sweets, to help lift the mood. Even when the workload gets heavy, I genuinely love what I do and, more importantly, who I do it with. My team gives me so much energy; they really are my second family. When you spend that much of your life at work, it’s essential to do what you love and love what you do, and I feel incredibly lucky to say I do. I genuinely have the best team.
Thank you so much, Chaimaa, for such a genuine interview. Your story reflects the heart of Infobric’s culture; we wish you continued success and hope you keep loving what you do here at Infobric.
