My Infobric Story: Meet Cajsa Persson
Infobric people are the heart of innovation and progress. That is why we want to share the stories of our employees to highlight their growth and contribution within the company. By showcasing real experiences, career journeys and personal achievements we want to underline Infobric's supportive culture and commitment to development.
Meet Cajsa Persson, Head of Customer Success and Operations at Infobric Workforce. She’s been with Infobric for six years, and during that time, she’s experienced a lot of change, both professionally and personally. Starting out with a strong interest, she’s taken on new challenges, learned along the way, and gradually grown into her current role. Her journey says a lot about what’s possible at Infobric, and how development often comes from simply being open to trying something new.
What was your first role at Infobric?
I joined Infobric in January 2020 as Executive Assistant to our CEO, Dan. I actually applied for a role in the finance team, however in that process I was asked if I would interested in being the CEO assistant instead and that felt like the right fit for me.
What attracted you to Infobric in the beginning?
A friend of mine worked at Infobric, and from the beginning the company seemed incredibly interesting to me. It felt like a place where a lot was happening, with strong momentum and real room to grow. What stood out most was the sense of potential.
Infobric grows quickly, acquires companies, and is constantly evolving. That really caught my attention. I wanted to be part of that journey. There are so many possibilities at Infobric that it becomes more about choosing and prioritizing what will create the most value.
Can you describe your journey from your first role to where you are today?
I started as Executive Assistant to the CEO, and it became a role where I learned an enormous amount in a very short time. I had the chance to attend board meetings, prepare all kinds of material, meet investors, and most importantly build relationships across the company very early in my career. I really loved that.
When I went on my first maternity leave, Dan and I agreed that it was a natural point for me to take the next step.
Because I had built such a strong network within Infobric during my time as Executive Assistant, I knew where to go, who to involve, and how to get things done. When I came back, I moved into the role of Project Management Officer. That role was less about traditional assistant responsibilities and more about connecting people and coordinating work across the business.
In Swedish we sometimes say being ‘the spider in the web’, and that describes it quite well. Since I had already built such a strong internal network, I knew where to go, who to involve, and how to get things done.
Now, after returning from my second maternity leave, I have stepped into the role of Head of Customer Success and Operations at Infobric Workforce. Today I lead two teams, Support and Customer Success, and bring an operational perspective into the business area. I’m now fully focused on Workforce, but because of my previous experience at group level, I naturally bring a wider perspective. I try to see the bigger picture rather than only focusing narrowly on support or customer success.
How have your responsibilities evolved over time?
In the beginning, my responsibility was to support Dan closely and manage the day-to-day flow around his work. But even in that first role, I was already doing more than the classic Executive Assistant tasks. Over time, that developed into broader coordination, cross-functional work, and eventually team leadership. So, I kept taking on more tasks, and that evolved into my second role and then my third.
How has Infobric supported your development?
Infobric has supported my development by giving me trust, responsibility, and the chance to grow into new roles as the company has evolved. Working closely with Dan has been especially important for me. I feel very fortunate to have had this journey and Dan has been a great mentor for me. The company has given me opportunities to grow, and the people around me have been supportive as well.
What internal opportunities, training, or promotions helped you move forward?
My first role was probably the biggest development opportunity of all. Even though it was not formally called a trainee program, it became one in practice because of the access, exposure, and learning it gave me. In addition to that, I am now joining Infobric’s leadership program for managers, which feels like a natural next step in my development.
How would you describe the culture when it comes to career progression?
I would describe Infobric as fast-paced, ambitious, and performance-oriented, in a way that creates real opportunities for people who want to grow. There is always a lot going on, and there is a strong performance culture. People here like to contribute, take responsibility, and move things forward.
What advice would you give someone who wants to grow within the company?
Be open about your ambitions. Talk to your manager, be honest about what you want to develop, and make sure you actively use the people around you to learn and grow.
What excites you most about the future at Infobric?
What excites me most is still the same thing that attracted me in the beginning: the potential. Infobric is a company with a lot of momentum and many opportunities still ahead. I’m excited to see how we continue to grow together, make the most of those opportunities, and keep building something strong.
What makes Infobric different from other companies you have worked at?
Before joining Infobric, I was a professional golf player, so I do not have a long corporate background to compare with. But what stands out to me is the sense of connection within the company. It’s almost like having the spirit of a small entrepreneurial company within a much bigger company, and I think that is something very special.
